    Fields of interest and research areas:
    Electrophysiology, including investigation of voltage-gated channels ( Ca2+,K+,Na+ ) and ligand-gated channels ( NMDA, non NMDA ) in slices and isolated cells of hippocampus, cerebelum and talamus. Ca2+ measurements using technique fluorescent probes.

    Area of expertise: synaptic plasticity, Hippocampus, Glutamate, adenosine, metabotropic receptors, Ishaemia.
